I Love Cacau
The Amazonas of Brazil is the home of one of the most amazing plants on our planet: Theobroma Cacau, the tree that gives us cocoa. Learn about the tree, and its famous fruit as well as other related topics. Then learn how to use cacao powder and butter and chocolate in savory cooking. This is a one of a kind experience that you should not miss!
In this unique experience we look at cacau from a different point of view. This is not about Bean-to-Bar and overly sweet Brigadeiros. This is about the origins of cacau, about its culture and impact on the history and culture of Brazil, and its uses as an ingredient in wonderful dishes from around the world.
In this 4-hour experience we learn how to prepare 6 different dishes from around the world that include Cacao in their recipe. We eat together in our beautiful winter garden accompanied by Brazilian wine and good conversation.
Duration: 4 hours
What is included: Welcome Drink and Snack, presentation, Caipirinha, Food (several recipes, depending on number of participants), Brazilian Wine pairing, exclusive and beautifully designed e-book with the recipes.
Who can attend: everybody from 9 to 99. Be able to climb some stairs. No Alcohol for children under 18. For experience with kids under 9 please get in touch.
